Youth Fight for jobs supports National Shop Stewards Network lobby of the Trade Union Congress
Youth Fight for Jobs is supporting the NSSN lobby at Trade Union Congress on the 11th September. We back the NSSN in it's call for the TUC to get off it's knees and call for a one day general strike. We agree that it is only by a mass movement of the working class and trade unionists that we can push back the cuts and defeat the ConDemolition once and for all.
The NSSN lobby of the TUC last year played a key role in forcing the TUC to call the spectacular 750,000 plus strong demo on March 26th. We now need to build on this and successful public sector pensions strike on 30th June. A general strike would bring the country to a standstill and show the power of the working class when it moves.
Youth Fight for Jobs is actively building for the demonstration and amongst young workers, the unemployed and students. We will have a speaker on the platform along side fighter like Mark Serwotka and Bob Crow. Come out on the 11th to say we won't be a lost generation! We will fight jobs, education and our futures!
